Get IP from MAC address

hi,

i cannot set sonos to static ip. can you pls suppor me fine ip from mac address..thanks a lot

open your sonos app on your smartphone, go to settings, then Info on my Sonos system and there you have the IP address.

or log in to your router en search via the DHCP menu option for the Sonos mac address and it will show you your IP address.

How about assigning an IP on your router basing on MAC address?

but sonos always has a connection, so if dhcp lifetime is default like 24 hours it should never change ip address.

No, but the DHCP-server may get rebooted etc... Most consumer stuff does not save the lease table in persistent memory.
