Cannot associate HRT4-ASR with HRT4-ZW after upgrade

Good day,

 

Just wondering if anybody of you seen this issue and know a workaround.

I just upgraded from 3.590 to 4.053 and seem to have lost my heating system.

After some research it appears the HRT4-ASR can no longer be associated to the main HRT4-ZW thermostat.

 

I tried to soft configure and even remove/add the devices completely, but no luck.

The fibaro application keeps showing me "Selected device does not support the associations functionality." on the ASR config page.

No matter, I just figured out a workaround. Works like a rocket.

You can actually manually associate the ASR to the ZW by using the menu 'A' on the ZW directly.

 

Still it remains a bug for Fibaro, as I can now see an association on the ZW with device ID 83 (the ASR), but I cannot select or deselect this device.

Could you be a little more specific? I can get HC to recognise both the ASR and ZW but as you say can't associate the two together in HC. Or, I can manually (outside of HC) associate them together but then they're not recognised in HC.

 

Is there a route where I can get both ways working at the same time?

Basically what I did was first reset both the HRT and ASR. Then (re-)add both to HC2. This I did to make sure all 'old' associations are gone.

After adding both devices, you then set dip 1 on the HRT, scroll to A menu and press the wheel to activate the association process on the HRT.

After that press the network button on the ASR and all should be ok.

Also I did a refresh on the HRT to make sure all settings are synchronized to the HC2. (Menu n)

Only thing I notice is a delay in reporting from the ASR to the HC2 as the ASR is not capable of actively reporting it's status.
But after a successful poll the status will be updated anyway.
