Question

Posted

I could really use some help here. I can't find any information anywhere regarding the use of LiLi.

I have the HC2 with latest firmware and have for example a dimmer module where I put:

in the "lili turn on" field the text:

"light on"

and in the "lili turn off" field the text:

"light off"

Then I went to the configuration tab and clicked the 'reload lili database'.

Now I expect that when I use my Android phone Fibaro app, or my iPad Fibaro app, that I can say something like "light on", but it says it didn't get my command. The voice recognition is working correctly, but LiLi just doesn't get what I want to do.

I also tried things like "turn on light", and "turn on light on" and "turn on light off" and "switch light on" and I've tried other things in the lili turn on and turn off fields but I have yet to get any result whatsoever other than "sorry, could you repeat" and "i didn't get your command".

Can anyone point me to some documentation for this, or can anyone please tell me what I'm doing wrong? I have spent a lot of time trying things and updating the lili database and talking like crazy but NOTHING I try works. I am frustrated by a youtube video where a guy simply says "turn off kitchen lights" and it works. HOW!?! I tried putting the literal text "turn off kitchen lights" on a dimmer device's lili turn off command and reloaded the lili database and spoke the same words but noooo, lili doesn't do anything.

Please help.

+1 on this. Tried what you have done and could not get it to work at all. Gave up after a while and not had time to look at it again.

LiLi did not work for me either, until I switched from English to my own language, Swedish

Okay, but, I have the interface in English, and I use English, and I want English.

I'm curious, where is the language setting? I could try another language. I went through the entire configuration tab but couldn't find it, and Fibaro documentation is less than helpful on many things in the HC2. At the top right I see that the language is apparently set to English, so why doesn't this work...

Exact the same frustration here too!

    Saw the same

and thought it must have been a fake as nothing i've tried seems to be recognised as a command. Get the same responses from Lili as novaflash says.

Where's the instructions / manual / how to guide for this feature?

    Fibaros own "

" only mentions Lili with regards to refreshing the database using the button in the configuration section !

    WEIRD!

After having a little moan here I went back to the iOS Fibaro app and tried one more time - saying exactly what I entered in the "lili turn on command" box in the device advanced tab. Worked immediately.

No idea what changed to make it finally work - i wasn't saying anything different to earlier. Does it just need time ? Maybe an hour ?

I have tried the function on my HC2 for one and a half years. It has been restored to factory settings, upgraded 5 billion times, settings reset a couple of times, and at no point in time has it ever worked for me, regrettably.

What helped for me was to refresh the data in the android app as well.

this worked for me every time

    1. Add command in HC2 on the device

    2. Refreshed lili db on HC2

    3. On my handleld in the fibaro app : Settings : "refresh network data"

after that the commends workd fine.
