Hi,

I'm a new owner of Vera Edge UI7 but since start I have only run into problems so I'm starting to look for alternatives. Can people point out the good and bad with HC2. How easy it is to use, how often it needs a restart and everything you can think of

Here's a list of what I can think of right now that I want, and that should work without any special hacking. There was a time when I had both the time and thought it was fun to troubleshoot all day, and "hack" everything but now I just want my things to work. I mean I can tweak it a little but that should only be optional and not mandatory.

- How is the integration with other system, say XBMC/Kodi, Synology, Tasker for android?

- How is the GUI on HC2 compared to Vera UI7. My experience with Vera so far is that it's slow as f**k and not vera beautiful.

- Is it possible to create you own GUI or is there any apps that is better than the stock?

- How is the user management? In Vera you got 4 different user types and to my knowledge it is cloud based when you're creating a user. That means that you need to have a valid email for every single user you got. I want to be able to create a local user, with just a username password, and in some cases an email as well so that the user can get notifications. A huge plus would be if you can create a user to only have access to certain devices. Say that 1 user can only turn on/off my kitchen lamp.

- It should be able to work with or without internet connection (if the internet goes down)

- Should be able to do things depending on me or my wife's location depending if we're connected to the network, or by GPS location.

That's what I come up to atm, and I will post more, or answer your questions if you have any for me.

Thanks in advance!
