Hi,

I'm using 2 x FGS221 to control 3 x 12V/DC electric valves for gardening. The valves open as long as the FGS221 connects in and out, so I changed values of parameters

- 13 to "ON = switch contacts connected / OFF = switch contacts disconnected"

- 14 to "Momentary Switch"

as I think they were set like this before the 4.x upgrade that I just did, when everything was working fine.

But now when the FGS221 is set to on, the valves do not open

Is there some other parameter I have to change in Rel 4.056?

Thanks a lot in advance,
Riccardo

Controller upgrade does not affect parameters or behaviour if modules in any way. Also these parameters only take effect you control your devices with wall switches, and do not matter when controlled by system. Is that the case?

Hi, these FGS221 are NOT connected to wall switches, so the valves are only controlled by FGS221 and everything was working before the upgrade.

So, how do I configure FGS221 again in a way that when they are switched to ON they connect in and out and keep them connected until switch goes to OFF? I have one FGS221 controlling 2 valves and one FGS221 controlling one valve - all behave the same, i.e. switch goes to ON but valve doesn't open.

    Thanks

Check if relay is working at all - do you hear clicking?

difficult to say, because the switches are not here with me. But I doubt that 2 FGS221 could possibly be both broken and showing up correctly in HC2 ("Transfer OK"), especially because they were working ok until I did the 4.056 upgrade...

Can you please confirm how I should set parameters to keep in and out connected while the FGS221 is in ON state?

    Thanks

Honestly I do not understand your question: if device is ON in interface it means that relay is on and the IN and OUT ports  are connected. If it is not it is physical defect of Relay or there is problem in communication (which is not the case in your matter, since there is proper log when sending instructions). One last possibility is to check if module reports its state correctly to controller - make sure 3rd association group has 1 (controller) assigned to it.
