If / Else Statement

I would say if my block  can work correctly to assign to Variable two states (opened/closed) and if is correct use the OR command to simulate the ELSE statement:

I assume you are still on v3 firmware, right? 'OR' statement should not be available in action section, it has no reasonable effect there. Block scenes are based on very simple mechanism: if-then. To execute 'else' block you need another scene.

    In v4 there are no actions not relevant in given context in block scenes. Alternative instruction is simply not part of design in block scenes.
