Using DSAudio from Synology from a HC2

Hi there,

 

A small message here to indicate that I started a project to control the DSAudio player from the HC2.

You can install the .vfib of the 1.0-beta1 version which only takes 75 tracks in random from your library and send it to the selected renderer.

 

You just have to edit the ip, port, admin password and the renderer name to get it work.

 

That should be pretty straightforward to use.

 

Please consider that as a first beta testing, so things could fail ;o)

If I am going to list my current playlists I get these results:

I can select them with the ID number, but not with the name (using playlist_shared_normal instead of smart):

Why don't I have playlist_shared_smart??

Many thanks for putting this together! 

 

I managed to get this working somehow, not really sure how because it wasn't at first. 

 

I've managed to play songs on my targeted Airplay speaker, and the current song playing is visible in VD. 

 

However, the "Playlist" button does not return anything, so choosing playlists and songs remains somewhat of a mystery. 

 

Could you shed some lights on how this should work?

I have a HCL that doesn't support LUA code. I would like to control my DSAudio Synology model with VD with simple HTTP commands.
