Hi

I bourgt a RFID reader, RFID chips (small glasstubes) and a Fibaro universal binary sensor.

My plan is to arm and disarm my alarm with some RFID chips in my keychains.

The RFID reader has a relay output that toggles (1 or 5 sec monostabile) everytime I read a chip.

The relay output, I have connected to the Fibaro UBS input 1, so that the reader put IN1 to ground for 1 (or 5) seconds every time a chip is read.

On output 1 I have connected a LED. The purpose is to show that the alarm is armed.

Before I ordered the UBS I expected that the two inputs could be programmed for many purposes and the 2 outputs could be controlled independent from the two inputs.

To be honest, I can not understand the settings of the UBS....

I can not find any devices for controlling the two outputs of the UBS. How do I control the outputs of the UBS?

How do I setup the parameters to be able to arm my alarm with the monostabile input signal?

i have done the same but with no LED indications. the UBS are just that sensors only so when you are arming the alarm or disarming the alarming the output from IN1 and IN2 will only be on for 1 or 5 seconds depending on the settings. unless you use a flip flop circuit to toggle the states.

i connected the yellow wire and blue wire to the bell contacts of the RFID reader. i then had to use a relay on the lock part of the relay and connect the green and blue wires to the relays NO contacts. the parameters for both inputs is set as NO.

then when the sensors are breached it can then trigger the alarm on or off scenes

It is a strange unit, the UBS, output is doing exactly the same as the input.

Why do the unit more expensive with extra connectors, when people already have the signal coupled to the input?
