Main thermostat, temperature sensor, humidity sensor

In Rooms->Room1 you can see such things as the "main temperature sensor", "main thermostat" etc. I can't find out how can I use it. What's the difference whether the main thermostat is for example Danfoss1 or Danfoss2.
