Hello everyone.
I’ve just swapped my lite for a HC2 and I’m writing some scenes.
Depending on the presence in the house I like to customize some actions.
Eg. When we are home and the blinds go down with sunset. I like to activate some lights, when we are ‘out’ or on ‘Holiday’ nothing must happen.
Running the LUA commands on a global variable is not a problem, which I found easily.
But setting the condition is troubling me.
For the moment I have a VD where I can set the presence (Home – Out – Holiday). Witch I can change with my mobile phone. I even have some NFC tag around the house where I can activate some scenes and set global variables.
But my wife has a windows phone and no NFC reader… The only way she has is to open the ipad and set the condition manually… Witch isn’t working.
I was thinking of placing a switch (toggle) where ‘on’ is ‘home’ and ‘off’ is ‘out’.
But when I change the condition via de VD of NFC tags, the switch is placed wrong.
eg. Setting the switch ‘home’ and leaving the home with RFC out. The toggle switch remains on ‘On’ and the next time I come home I can’t set it on because it’s already on or I have to switch from of to on…
I will understand but my wife and kids won’t…
Any other ideas ?
Or is the best option to set this variable only with this one switch, then the first person in the house and the last to leave have to take action…
thanks
