Setting up Netatmo plugin

Hi all

 

So I just got version 4 installed on my HC2 and I have the Netatmo station and I thought I'd connect it. But I don't know how I get hold of my Client ID and Client Secret which I assume I need to get it working. Anyone able to give me a "how to" on setting up this plugin?

Yes, you need a Client ID and Client Secret indeed.

Thanks for your reply Cafun! I entered all the passwords and clicked on Get Devices. Now I have 36 new devices! I have the main Netatmo station pluss 2 indoor modules, 1 Outdoor module and the rain gauge, so 5 units in total. For example there are two rain gauge devices, one reading 11.01 and one reading 0 and I have no idea what it means. No rain the past few days either. What is going on?

Have you "favorite" other weatherstations in the Netatmo map? Maybe it are other weatherstations? I don't have so many devices.

You are of course right. I thought it would only pull the devices that are on the same local network as the Home Center, but it pulled all the stations I have connected to my account (two stations that are mine and one that is shared to me). None of the devices are named and that's why I didn't think of it at first.

Done it with my parents house, works fine.

little question, searching for something in a scene that can react on the value of Netatmo. 

Should be something working with a api right ?

Anybody got a example to keep me going.  Would like do simple scene's in lua. For example when temperature is below xx then close id shutters

Glad I could help.

The first thing I did was add the plugin. After that I favorite some weatherstation. They don't appear automatically in Fibaro. When I added Netatmo on my Domoticz, then I saw the other weatherstations. At first I didn't know where they were comming from. So I don't "blame" you you didn't thought about it

Since 4.057 I have problem with temperature updating from my Netatmo devices. Fibaro doesn't get right temperature and it getting be cold in Sweden ... What is the right polling time? I have set to 20 sec but maybe it's wrong ... Is there anyone with the same problem?

Same here with 4.057, I can see that the app is created in Netatmo, the plugin is telling me that the Thermostat is connected but I am unable to Get Devices.  I have tried using Safari and Chrome. Did reinstall the plugin several times.

What an I doing wrong.
