Temperature updates in Fibaro DoorSensor&Motion Sensor Fibaro

Recommended Posts

I am having problem with temperature updates in those two types of devices. In case of door sensor only one receives temp update every 2-3 hours, all the rest every 6-12h, and after some period of time the temp is frozen. Very similiar situation is with morion sensor, but in this case allmoust all of them are frozen after 1 day, and the updates are nor frequent. The light sensor is frozen all the time.

Does any have similar problems? Any idea how to fix that problem.

All devices are working on default settings.

Thanks

It sounds like "Z-Wave network issues". Do you have other issues, like delays (with other modules than the ones above)? HC2 or HCL? What firmware? How many mains powered devices do you have?

In total i have around 60 devices (4motion sensors, 5 door sensors, 7 Danfoss heater and the rest of them are powered devices like wall plugs and relay switches . i did not noticed any delay's. I am an owner of HC2 with the latest software 4.057.

The motion sensor option works fine only the temp and light sensor is frozen.

Door sensor work fine only temp is frozen or updated not very often.

Regarding th FGMS... There is a known issue with setting parameter 40 (delta LUX) to a low value. For a workaround I quote from

Please login or register to see this link.

"For now you can disable reports on lux change (parameter 40 = 0) or set it to value greater than 100 lux and turn on frequently automatic reports (parameter 42) -> for example once for 2 minutes. If you had parameter 40 on low value (<50) it won't affect your battery life (or impact will be minimal)."

    My param 40 = 201 Lux and param 42 = 180 sec.

I am not really checking this sensor 10 times a day. Maybe a few times a week. And I have to say the values seem "sane" to me.

    For temperature...

These are the 10 last reports by this FGMS sensor. Parameter 60 = default = 1 degree Celsius. It's in the garden shed (against the ceiling):

And this is a Fibaro Door/Windows sensor in the garden shed (Parameter 12 = default = 0.5 degrees Celsius):

Is this what you get? Or expect to get?
