HC2 broken after 2 month

Hello,

 

I've got an issue with my HC2 after 2 month of use.

 

I've contact fibaro and they say : 

Dear User

Unfortunately your HC is broken, please return it for warranty repairs.

Our warranty procedure is :

Please send us pack by DHL courier only to address :

Fibar Group S.A.
ul. Dąbrowskiego 81/85 hala nr 27
60-529 Poznań
Poland
with note „SERWIS”.

To pack please add filled RMA document and copy of sales invoice.

As DHL is verry expensive, I've ask fibaro who will paid for shipment cost. They answer : 

Dear User

We will cover return shipment costs.

You can also return it to your local Fibaro reseller

whom you purchased it from

I've decided to send my fibaro box and 1 eek after, I've recevied my HC2 repaired. all work now. I juste need to rebuild all my configuration because all is lost during this repair.

 

I've contact fibaro to know how to have shipment costs refurbish and it seems that's not possible.

 

How have you managed this kind of issue ?

 

Does anyone here can help me to solve this issue ?

 

I've write some papers into a blog to explain any domotic systems. Do you think this was a good report to explain what king of support is available with our HC2 witch is the more expensive domotic system ?

 

I know this forum is managed, I hope this message will not be moderated without real raisons.

They usually don't moderate posts that isn't offensive to other users. You may even criticise Fibaro as a company without being moderated.

 

If you only had your hc2 for 2 months that would most likely have constituted a warranty return for your reseller and a full refund or a brand new hc2 in its place. If you went ahead and sent it to Poland for your own money I'm not sure you will have any luck getting your money back. I suppose it may be country specific laws that regulates refunds and warranty issues but again if you sent it for service that may not be considered a valid warranty claim even though Fibaro fixed it for you free of charge.
