Get value from all of one kind of devices, lua scene help!

Question

Posted

So, what I want to do is a scene to check all motion sensors for inactivity for 30m, and then if no movement is detected to send a push notification to turn on the night scene.

My first problem is to select all motion sensors from fibaro (where type == 'com.fibaro.FGMS001'), what is the best way to do this?

In debug I reach the end with no devices found :/

Can anybody give me a hand please?

Thanks.

First, I'll fix your code. After that, I present a possible solution to you question "check for 30 mins of inactivity"

Please login or register to see this code.

"lastBreached" script. Please set "sensorIDs" to the IDs of your sensors.

Is it possible to save the results from 'mSensor' into an array?

Please login or register to see this code.

Like sensorIDs = {105,109,158} but getting this from first example.

In the second example I'm going to use to activate away mode, if no movement is detected for more that 5 minutes and last breached sensor was the door (ID 183) then it activates the scene.

Thanks a lot for helping out!

Cheers! This is how you would fill an array using lua:
