Hikvision DS-2CD2032-I and Fibaro NO VIDEO

Question

Posted

I have 3 Hikvision DS-2CD2032-I cameras.

In HC2:

JPG path Streaming/channels/1/picture?snapShotImageType=JPEG

MJPEG path Streaming/channels/102/httppreview

Camera:

Substream is set to MJPEG from camera settings.

I have set up both internal IP and another version set up as external IP, problems are the same with both of them.

Ipad app works more or less ok, android not so well but web interface is the main problem.

When i go to HC2 webinterface i get no thumbnail and also no picture when clicking. There is NO VIDEO and image placeholder is in the corner.

When i dig into the feed that HC2 shows there is:

Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 401 (Unauthorized)

GET:

401 (Unauthorized)

Strange is that, now, when i log into the camera admin with my password, it starts to show video also in HC2!

Somehow it seems like the username and password are not "going trough" via Fibaro?!

My Hikvision IPCam DS-2CD2432F-IW does not support MJPEG.

It only supports static JPG (which Fibaro can show in the thumbnail) or RTSP.

I suspect the same is true of yours. So: could Fibaro support RTSP too?

    Hello,

I've found how to have good parameters for HIKVISION (2032i & 2432f-iw) I've both:

You have to enter IP, login& password

    for JPEG URL, enter "/Streaming/channels/1/picture"

    for MPEG URL, enter "/Streaming/channels/1/preview"

send stop after command, try, it's working
