Question on Danfoss

Question

Posted

Hi,

I've just set up a Danfoss valve and have a couple of questions I'm hoping someone can help with:

  • What does the drop down menu highlighted in the red arrow in the attachment do?
  • How do get the current temperature from the Danfoss? I only seem to be able to see the current Set Point (not the current temperature) in the UI.

Thanks!

The drop-down menu means the time during which the setpoint you now set, will overrride the schedule temperature.

You cannot get the current temperature from the Danfoss; you'll only be able to sent a setpoint to the unit. If you want to know room temperature, you'll need to install a separate room thermostat.

    Thanks for your reply!

By "schedule temperature" do you mean the temperature as set up in the Heating Panel?

Yes, although I don't really know what happens if you don't have the heating panel configured.
