Hello everybody,


can any tell me what is the main difference between Nest thermostat 2nd and 3rd generation ?


and  i'm asking about nest thermostat 3rd generation , is Fibaro has plugin For it or just have the 2nd generation ?

I would like to also know if Nest can integrate into Fibaro with Z-Wave thermostat radiator plugs.

There is a big difference for the european market. The first and second generation use a relay to turn the boiler on and off. Where the 3rd generation uses OpenTherm which makes it possible for the nest to communicate with the boiler. In that way it can receive status updates like errors and change the water temperature to modulate the temperature.

or

fibaro creates a plugin for honeywell evohome, there is an api for this thermostat

 with the evohome  radiator plugs you can change temp in every room
