Hi - new to this so flame gently!

I'm looking  to install a house full of fibaro controls, but as the house is 2-wire for lighting, I believe I have to use the "dimmer 2" modules with a bypass for LED units. I've read that the quiescent power draw is 25w.... if so then this will be 4-5 times that of the installed lights, which seems very wrong. What have I misunderstood?

i guess you need the dimmer 2, that one will dimm leds without the bypass (that uses a lot of power indeed)

I thing, you just didn’t get the number correctly. Bypass is supposed to be used for lamps which have a power of less than 25W. In this case on 2 wire system, there is not enough power going through the light to supply the dimmer to work. But in terms of consumption, it shouldn’t be more than 0,X watts if any. Dimmer itself consumes ~0,6W.
