Hi!

 

Anyone got wiring diagram for separate double switch connection (stair case) for the old/new dimmer?

 

Cant find it anywhere and are not in the manual.

Just remove the middle switch and that should be what you are after

    Hi, 

     

    Same with me - did you manage to solve the issue? I used wiring for 2 momentary switches with phase cable. N & Sx are connected together, switches are connected to S1.

    Next I'll try to reconnect both switches to Sx - not L as shown on the diagram. That would make me move the dimmer between switch boxes, so it will take some time to do so.

    Hi patryk, I think youre right this wiring does miss the N connected to the Dimmer (N)

     

    Also the two switches are drawn in a wierd way - they are simply in parallel providing L to S1 whenever they are pressed.

    I do have such an installation with 5 switches and of course with N connected to Dimmer (N) and it works.

    As some people discussed here the FGD-212 seems to be quite sensitive to parasitic signals comming from long wires connected to S1 (or S2), putting an old fashioned solenoid (relais) inbetween eliminates this - but somewhat an unpleasant workaround.
