Setting device parameters by LUA

Question

Posted

Dear Friends,

I'm new user of Fibaro system and get a question - is it possible to setup some parameters for devices over LUA code?

I would like to disable light from motion sensors and wall plugs during the night, but I do not know what command to set.

Thanks for any suggestion.

Regards

Piotr

I've actually been looking to do the same.

You can GET and PUT json data which includes the parameters easily enough, however - using PUT does not actually send the data out to the device.

    Hi Rait,

Thank you for answer  - so, as I correctly understand you, it is not possible to change device parameters by LUA code and send them to device (or I'm wrong and should use PUT json data and then any other method to send it to device like restart it)?

I have not yet managed to send parameters data to devices via API. I have opened a Fibaro support case to see if there is any way to achieve it.

As for now, it seems it is currently not possible to do it.
