How to detect which sensor was activated irst

Question

Posted

Dear friedns,

I just starting my activity with Fibaro.

In the one of first scenes I would like to activate a light in one room when I entering it.

I get one Motion sensor and one Door open sensor.

I did activation when door is opened and get activity from Motion sensor.

Problem is, that it is also switching on the light when I'm already in the room and doors are opened.

I think the easiest way, would be to check which sensor was activated first and than based on it, activate light or not.

Can you be so kind and help me with the command telling when sensor was triggered?

BR

You can check the change times of the sensors like this:

Please login or register to see this code.

But I think implementing this might be a bit trickier than you think. What if someone else enters the room, should the light switch on? What if you were noticed by the motion sensor inside the room, and then someone else opens the door?

Other people have been working on lighting scenes. Search for "auto light" and you might get some ideas. Let us know how you get on!
