sunset / sunrise time

Question

Posted

Goodmorning,

On my homecenter lite I tried to set up scenes with automatic timers (for lights) based on sunset settings.

1. Does anyone know which time slots are used for sunset / sunrise?

Times are not corresponding to e.g. sites with sunset schemes (now in holland approx 1700).

time on my homecenter however seems correct.

2. I tried to use the setting XXmin before sunset, but I don't know how to set XX.

Best regards,

Roel

I found a very helpfull topic about this (not exactly an answer to your question, but I think it might be helpfull for you too).

It fills a variable with the daypart (before or after sunrise). You can use this variable in block or LUA scripts to define actions by night.

I have, for example, used this variable to automatically dim the lights at night in a babyroom when I turn them on after sunset. Works great.

a tip: after restarting and waiting a while the "../api/devices/1" was displayed a sunset time correctly (first I still showed the first sunset date).
