Trying to read json

Question

Posted

Hi all,

I'm trying to read some values from my profilux 3 aquarium controller, data is in a son table and looks lik this :

{"components":{"sensors":[

{"index":"000","actual":" 8.25pH","state":" "},
{"index":"001","actual":" 24.7C","state":" "},
{"index":"002","actual":" 51.4mS","state":"- "},
{"index":"003","actual":" 362mV","state":"- "},],"levelcontrol":[
{"index":"000","state":" 2"},],"flowsensor":[],},"alarms":[],"opmode":"0"}

How can i make a virtual device to read and display the values from index 000, index 001 and so on, my problem is to decode the json table not the virtual device.

Hi Jantje,

You might want to change the title to "JSON" instead of "son". I only clicked on it by luck... Anyway, if you use a lua script you can decode json with json.decode
