Global variable as scene trigger problem

Question

Posted

I'm using a global variable as my scene trigger. As long as I'm changing the updating value using another scene, it works just fine. However, when I update it using fibaro API's PUT method, the scene does not get triggered.

I'm beginning to think that global variable trigger hooks might get bypassed when using the API.

Please login or register to see this code.

Any ideas?

It will only work if a scene changes the variable.

You can create a scene which changes the var and triger that via API. Silly workaround but....
