Fibaro Motion sensor gives a lot of false triggers. What parameters to change

For some reason I have this one sensor that is triggering falsly a lot.

Turning down the sensetivity does nothing good other than making it not trigger fast enought when entering a room.

So I was thinkin a bit on the parameter 3 and 4. PIR sensor count and PIR sensor window time.

I feel the manual is not logical. Cause on P3 would it not be oposite? Like the higher required moves makes it less sensetive and the lower makes it more? I would belive setting this to 3 would make it need more moves to trigger?

If i where to set P3 to 3 and keep P4 on default. Would the sensor still trigger fast, but need a bigger area/moves of detetction before it actually triggers?

3. PIR sensor’s “PULSE COUNTER”

Sets the number of moves required for the PIR sensor to report
motion. The lower the value, the less sensitive the PIR sensor. It’s
not recommended to modify this parameter settings.
Available settings: 0 - 3
Formula to calculate the number of pulses: pulses = (value + 1)
Default setting: 1 (2 pulses)
Parameter size: 1 [byte]

4. PIR sensor’s “WINDOW TIME”

Period of time during which the number of moves set in parameter 3
must be detected in order for the PIR sensor to report motion. The
higher the value, the more sensitive the PIR sensor. It’s not
recommended to modify this parameter setting.
Available settings: 0 - 3
Formula to calculate the time: time = 4 x (value + 1)
Default setting: 2 (12 seconds)
Parameter size: 1 [byte]

That text doesn't sound quite right, indeed, I thought that too. Haven't tried it. I only have one of theses sensors, and it was used to trigger a light in the TV room. Can't say that it triggered falsely. Now it is in another place but unfortunately it is unused, so I don't have an idea of it "false triggering". Do have an idea of how much and when it false triggers?

If you place it somewhere else, does that help? Could it be due to its position? Directed at something that produces heat, for instance? Pets?

Well i have several placed many places and none does trigger this much falsly. I guess it might have to do with some air vents that blows/sucks warm air, triggering it falsly.

I have tested a bit with P3 and P4. Having P3 on 3 makes in trigger more falsly. Having it on 0 makes it just as bad. Having P3 on 1 makes it better. Then having P4 on 1 as well makes it better. But still it trigges falsly.

I've read reports of false triggers due to air flow, but not that many. It is not only a matter of temperature, but also the rate of change, frequency so to speak, and intensity. Maybe you have the "unlucky combination" from those vents? If moving the sensor is an option... but you will have guessed that yourself of course. A trick I sometimes is a bit of dark PVC tape, on the sensor, to block part of its view. I have to admit that I have 7 Aeon MultiSensor so that's easy to do with their big fronts. I only have one FGMS. When the sensor was still in the house, it looked sideways to a radiator and it didn't false trigger.
