Motion Sensor Scene , turn light on and off

Question

Posted

Hi all,

I would like to turn light on, and if not tripped for 10min then turn it off again. All in one scene, this should be possible ?

I tried what I thought is good, but it did not work. Can somebody post me how to do this ?

I´m fairly rookie so any detailed help is much appreciated ! I´m on 4.058 !

thanks a lot !

I have not seen any mention of whether this is for HC2 or HCL.

I was using multiple block-scenes to achieve the same scenario in the past but I have jump over to use LUA script and this '

' script is a good one to start off with and adjust accordingly. It controls the lights (I am using one instance of the script for each room) based on motion detection, time of day (for variants of lights turn on duration during different time of day) and even allows manual over-ride like someone manual switch the lights on/off instead of the motion-detection.

Give it a try. May be you will like it too.
