Temporary light intensity increase on movement.

Question

Posted

Hi, I would like to make a following scene:

In case the motion sensor detects movement, light on dimmer will increase intensity by +20% for 30 seconds and then returns back to previous state.

In case the light is off, than it will go to 20% and after 30 seconds to 0.

In case the light is on at 40%, it will go to 60% and after 30 seconds to 0.

Any ideas how to do that in LUA? Thanx

Learning LUA step by step. This is the result that works so far. Variables determines if there is evening or night not to turn the light on during the day. Some fine-tuning is still needed (e.g. to wait with sleep until the sensor is safe to keep the light on while there is movement).
