Hi,

you know the "Today Widget" thing you can slide down from the top on any iOS device? It would be great to have a Fibaro widget that sits there and lets me start certain scenes. scenes that I configure to show up there. not necessarily all my scenes.

That would be very handy. You don't even have to unlock your phone, just slide down and tap to start a scene.

This could probably also be implemented by a third party App/Widget via the Fibaro HTTP-API, but i haven't found anything like that. I know there is at least one Philips Hue app that does exactly that, but i havent found anything for Fibaro yet.

Does somebody maybe know of an App that does that? Or is there a place we can post feature requests for the Fibaro Mobile Application? The iOS Sub-Forum here sadly allows no posting :´-(

come to think of it...it might be possible to implement this via IFTTT (If This Then That). I believe there are Apps that can trigger IFTTT recipes from a widget...Hmm.

I would be interested to hear if somebody has tried this or something similar.

best regards

Max

An IOS app called Home Remote (by bouncing ball games) allows this.

You can swipe down and run scenes etc by a button press. You just have to configure it by inputting the fibaro URL requests using the api.

Works on your wifi no problem and can get it to work remote if you use static ip and setup correctly...

I actually tried that first. call me stupid but i didn't get it to work. with the home remote app it literally took me less than 9 minutes to download and configure it...you can see the timestamps between my two posts above

I also like that solution better because i'm not dependent on a "cloud service" that sits in the middle of it all. just a simple http call from my iOS device to my HC2 at home...not much that could go wrong there.

About the password protected scenes...I assume you mean that checkbox "PIN protected"?

You can include the pin in the URL like this:
