Nest and Fibaro how does the plug-in work

I was wondering how the new Nest plug in software works with the Nest thermostat. At the moment I have the horsemann system but as we do not like the look of the thermostat for the main house was wondering if the Nest can be used instead.

The idea is the Nest for the main house, but particular rooms  (i.e. bedrooms and living room) zoned by way of temperature sensor and motorised radiator valves.

Does the plugin allow use of nest with fibaro and if so how as one is zwave based and the other not

The plugin is okay. You get one device showing temperature, another one humidity and the last one controls heating/cooling. It communicates over http rather than z-wave as you need to enter your Nest's credentials (just as you log in with a browser).

It works pretty well in scenes with IFTTT.
