Sonos TTS with system version 6.1.1

I have tryed to use sonos TTS with kirschoffs VD but I cant get it to work. How have you guys solved it?

 

Im using the latest sonos firmware, 6.1.1

ahhhh do you also have the lastest sonons firmware 6.1.1? please update this thread if you get it to work again.

I thought, I have the latest version.

But I have "only" 6.0 and the Update-Checker said, it is the current version.

work for me using mp3 files and I am using Sonos 6.1

 

Watch the video and follow the instructions and you should get it to work.

There seem to be two issues

 

1. Getting it to return to whatever was playing before the alert

2. MP3 only plays for about 30 seconds

Mp3 isn't a good idea when you have information about weather, temperature etc...

Exactly, to play mp3-files is also not my problem.

I use TTS for weather etc......

In parallell im looking for a solution running a local TTS service on my osx server. Still running Krikroffs VD but using a local TTS instead of google.

But its not working... Any guidance?

 

I run the program M2S on my OSX server that response to HTTP requests like "

The request works running the request in a browser, the TTS comes out just fine.

 

I tried adjusting the Krikroff Virtual device with the proper URL like below but still get a return 500 on my HTTP request.

 

Tested change of VD (line 1320)

I would love to understand what you are doing with the weather and how you got it working with TTS. Something I wanted to do but as you say certainly not practical with MP3 files. Still a novice at this.

 

Anyone prepared to share their scripts, would be much appreciated.

Is there a way to set volume not in TTS LUA, but to choose it in scene?

When i try to do it, it always sets volume set in TTS.

Hai...I am new to this..I had integrated sonos into fibaro...but it still needs sonos app to run background for working correctly...if I closes the sonos app then automatically at a few secs the songs goes off..what to do...

I need to create a scenes that sonos and RGB should ON ...OTHER APLLIANCES SHOULD GOES TO OFF...
