Do z-wave through ?

Hi everyone !

i have a question about z-wave (HCL and HC2) and i need to help.

look at the following my picture.

I  hope i have answer from everyone .

hi,

 

the walls will attenuate the z-wave signal, but it will still work. you won't see anything like a normal range (quoted to be 30m indoors).

    The signals go through walls, they will be weakened. If there is a problem the simple solution is to have z-wavw mains operated switches close to the wall on each side. They work as repeaters, therefore can you z-wave network be quite big- As long as the switch get in touch your network will work.

    You can say for brick and concrete, rule of thumb, the wall appears 3 to 10 times thicker than air. So if you say 20 cm, that will count as 0.6 to 2 meter. If you don't look at the wall at a straight angle, the thickness increases.
