FGR-222 as SPDT relay

I was led to believe I could use the FGR-222 as a single pole double throw (SPDT) relay.

The important feature of SPDT is as described: "An additional feature of the Fibaro Blind Control is that the two outputs cannot both be active at the same time. In other words, it will not provide power to both Up and Down sides of the motor. This is important as if this happened it would damage the motor and could cause a risk of fire". 

 

My question is, have any of the forum members managed to use the FGR-222 as a general SPDT, eg for an installation without end/limit switch? If whats the trick, parameters to be set?
