Simple Lights on/off scene help

Question

Posted

I've set up one block scene to turn on a light when the motion sensor is activated but am having trouble with the one to turn it off.
I've set up a separate scene to turn off the lights but want it to go off after 5mins but I keep getting a message saying to many instances, don't know what I'm doing wrong and if I enter a value in the seconds box it just seems to not like it?

any ideas please?

Got any further on my problem about my main scene handling my lights that's working well with a Dimmer2 and an AEON MS4-1 but kept on failing

with a Dimmer2 and an Fibaro motion sensor.

I exchanged the Dimmer2 for another one and the same problems kept on occurring. Then I exchanged it for a Dimmer1 and it's works like a charm again.

But I still don't have a clue what's the difference because the scene didn't change..... Mysterious!

Hi @TRicky,

have you noticed any surge or overvoltage notifications for that dimmer2 on top of the web GUI page?

Hi @Sankotronic,

No warnings seen there. De pending on changing the parameters the lights went on for a split second and off again. But with the standard parameters the scene started but no lights.

Very strange. The Dimmer2 worked normally on manual control and through the GUI.
