Question

Hello all,

Since there is no SMA plugin (solar panel SMA inverters LAN) yet, does anyone happen to know if its possible to get PVOutput displayed in Fibaro?

Hello tcviper,

i'm trying to do the same thing, it could be done by spfspot on a raspberry pi i think. i have a raspberry with domoticz connected to my smartmeter with a P1 cable, domoticz sends the values to my HC2. i going to try to add spfspot to also get the values out of my SMA inverter and send them to the HC2.

Please login or register to see this link.

and no fibaro i'm not trying to advert domoticz but it can't be done (yet) with the HC2 directly.

  • That is an option indeed but then Fibaro wont recognise it as a Energy Solar power thingy, and therefor not saving the data to a graph / measurement of power.

    It's at least something though.

I'm using an AEON labs energie HEM meter, not really reading the SMA, but does do the trick for me and gives me reasonable accurate energy readings including history graphs in HC2.

Any chance this device could be used to read the output power of the Sunny Boy?

It does, that's what I use it for.

    Hi guys

I don't know if it's of any use by now but here's a hint : one of the users of the french fibaro forum has written a Virtual Device that (among others) will fetch data from PVoutput.org and display it on Fibaro HC2.

    Here is the link :

Please login or register to see this link.

    Of course it's in french...

I have SBFspot on Raspberry fetching data from my SMA inverter. SBFspot can both save it on the raspberry (SQL or CSV formats) and upload it to PVoutput.org.

Now I also have a question : since I have a Fibaro HCL (no LUA capabilities, so the Virtual Device here above won't work), has anyone figured another way to display PVoutput.org info on a HCL ? Or maybe just getting the data directly from the Raspberry (CSV or SQL) to the HCL ?

Thanks for any info on this..

    cheers
