Also the "old" products announced previously still aren't available

I have learnt a hard lesson with a hefty price tag to take Fibaro's marketing with a big pinch of salt.

And that 'thought' seems to ripple out to family, friends, acquaintances, etc....

I hope Fibaro will balance their efforts better in favour of improving/supporting mainstream zwave products and less on marketing hype.

I'm a newcomer to the Fibaro World (I'm in Canada) and I'm afraid this has been my experience as well.  It's a premium priced product with incredibly sleek marketing behind it, but the actual product support has been abysmal

My three and a half years of experience with Fibaro is a bit like a rocky road. Fibaros´ambitions appears to be high in a world wide growing z-wave market, I believe they have to shape their product portfolio to stay in the lead while at the same time remain mainstream - and their product support needs to be ironed out. A daunting task, but I wish them the best - history is full of companies that have succeeded (and of those that failed).

As for swipe, time will tell - at the moment I´m skeptical. Fibaro may have struck gold - although I don´t think so. Anyhow the fact remains, the hub/gateway/controller (HC2/HCL) needs to be rock solid or the whole network falls apart...
