Nest Scenes

Does anyone know how to change nest temperature in different separate scenarios (see below). I have not been able successfully trigger the nest to change temps. anyone have any suggestions? I have a Home center Lite

 

• When i exit a specific area (away from the home) it will trigger the nest to set a certain temperature or set it as "Away"

 

• When i enter a specific area (coming home) it will trigger the nest to set a certain temperature or set it as "Home"

 

• At a certain time and day set the nest to a certain temperature. 

 

I can provide screenshot of what i have if needed.

if your using the fibaro plugin then you cannot... the functionality is VERY VERY VERY limited! To the point its useless for automation! Great for manual changes (but that is what the nest app is for)

 

Look for the 3rd party api (unofficial) script on here that will do what you want but you may need a php server to run it. Example : Synology nas or something similar?

Yes you can do it, but you need HC2. Have a look at IFTTT - this is the only way to do it.
