GPS location trigger

Hello, is there anyone who has a scene working based on location?

 

I did try to trigger based on when i enter or leave a gps location with 100m, but it doesn't work. It is just a simple block scene that pushes me a message for testing.

 

Should this work?

Fibaros GPS functional is waay close to functional. No one uses it.

Cannot get it working. Changed the pull gps from the access control page to 1min but without success.

Anyone a suggestion? I found a solution using IFTT Maker chanel for determining the location and sending an API call to the HC2. This involves opening a port to HC2 to let IFTT connect with the HC2 to send the API call.

 

I am not so happy opening a TCP port.

I use the ios App Geofancy to trigger HTTP requests. This is the way the Fibaro app should work

And does it work? Do you use it trough a web server? Still you need to open some ports on your router/firewall. You should expect that this should work with the Fibaro app.

Yes, unfortunately you must open a port to a web server that you have.

But so far it has worked well, using it as a temporary solution until Fibaro perhaps solves their app problems.

Opening the port isn't the problem - what really is an issue is that the password is transmitted in unencrypted text - that's a really bad idea.
