Hi All,

I've just installed a Secure HRT4 ASR-ZW single channel boiler control for my new combi boiler but am struggling to get it work as I need it to with my Home Center 2.

Previously I had used a Fibaro dual relay to control the old boiler with 1 channel for the central heating pump and the other for the boiler heating.  I linked the central heating pump to the Eye Motion temperature in Linked Devices - Heating and set up a scene to turn the boiler heating on if the central heating pump was activated.  The Heating Panel was used to set the schedule and everything worked very well with the heating coming on and off as per the schedule and temperature measured by the Eye Motion.  Unfortunately the boiler was 30 years old and needed replacing!

I went for the Secure HRT because I wanted a neat solution to control the new boiler.  I could still use a Fibaro relay but I don't have a nice user interface that fits a standard UK backbox and LED indicators to show if the heating is on or off.  I thought the HRT would be the solution.  The issue I have with the HRT4 is that I can't link this to the Eye Motion in the Linked Devices as it doesn't appear in the list.

I understand one solution would be to buy the HRT Thermostat and associate this with the boiler controller and then get the Home Center Heating Panel to create the set points for this device but this seems a bit daft and expensive when I can already measure the temperature of the desired room with the Eye Motion.   Also, I've got a tablet on the wall that is used for all controls in the house so I really don't want another wall mounted device just for temperature control.

Am I missing something simple here or is there some LUA code that can be triggered by the Heating Panel?  Can the Heating Panel be used to switch a variable ON or OFF and then I set up a scene that looks at this variable and controls the HRT accordingly?  Surely something is possible here?

Any help on this would be most appreciated.

Unfortunately the HRT4 ASR-ZW does not work fully with v4 yet, and as you say it cannot selected in the linked devices

I had a dual relay with the second relay not been used so I linked this for the heating and just created a scene to mirror the state of the relay to the HRT4 ASR-ZW

Seems to work ok

Thanks Entire.  That is a solution, albeit a bit of a bodge :-> .  I've sent an email to Fibaro support to see if they have any bright ideas or can implement a fix...still waiting on a response

@entire: thanks for the update. I will configure it that same way until Fibaro Support is able to fix this issue. I'm sure they will as they have shown some excellent support on this device in the past.

Don't forget that the ASR-ZW requires polling, it will not report changes and it will turn off after an 1 hour automatically so you need to trigger the scene on the relay and the ASR-ZW

    4 is my ASR-ZW

    139 is my spare relay

    Cheers
