Duo white CW and WW LED strips, how to control

Question

Posted

Hi all, new to Fibaro, and this forum.

I want to control a LED strip that have two different colors in one strip.

It is 3 wires, and I assume it is two "high", one for each color, and one "low" for return, close.

This is the product:

I would like to alternate the dimming between the two colors to find my preference.

Would you use the Dimmer2, or the RGBW?

I believe that the RGBW would work, but the gui would not reflect what color you are changing/dimming.

Any good ideas is welcome.

Need to keep the WAF ( wife acceptance factor) in mind

Would it be possible to use two RGBW modules and connect one colour per module only? (And the return to one of the modules which would also do the "all off" when necessary)?

I got some feedback on a different forum, that suggested to use one RGBW to control two of this LED strips.

It ban control four different colors individually, so with my strip being two, I can do two.

The only drawback is that the gui will not reflect the colors, I don't care

    Bonjour,

Avez vous trouver une solution ?

Je n'arrive pas a varier le "blanc" avec  un controleur sunricher pourtant dédié a çà

Quels sont les paramètres du module Fibaro RGBW ?

    Merci
