Start android app on push notification

Hello,

Is there a way to open the app on push notification? The reason why i am askingnis the alarm function. I do get a push on alarm but that does not really help me if i am not looking on my phone constantly.

What i want is the app to open directly to bring the beeping tone on my phone. Or to start the beep sound on push. What does a simple push bring me? Nothing m

No, and that's why I have setup a script to push to my Telegram bot (named Alarm).

Within the Telegram app on the mobile phone I've setup to sound an alarm when it receives a message from the Alarm bot.

Thx. But i have in mind that thr alarm siund came up automatically in an very early Version of the android app. But maybe i am wrong. This would be a very nice Feature

Btw.. Could you explain your method a little bit better? What program do u use for playing sound? Why do you need a special Script

Telegram is a messaging application for your mobile phone (like WhatsApp (but not owned by Facebook), and way more secure)

 

Basically the HC2 script is sending "private" notifications to it!

 

Within the Telegram app you can set different "sounds" for different users.

I created an "alarm" user, and all messages send to that "Telegram user/bot" will trigger the set sound for it (in this case an alarm)
