Possible to get text of a virtual device button in Lua?

Question

Posted

Hi,

Does anyone know if it's possible to get the "text" of a Virtual Device button in Lua?

I.e. if I have a VD with 1 button on it with the text "All Off", is it possible to extract text "All Off" in Lua? - a bit like you can with ui.Label.value for labels on VD's?

Thanks!

Yes in LUA, every button got element name and caption

  • type": "button",
  • "elements":[{
    • "id": 4,
    • "lua": false,
    • "waitForResponse": false,
    • "caption": "test",
    • "name": "Button21",
    • "empty": false,
