Permanent Low Battery info on HC2 for Everspring ST814

Question

Posted

Hi All.

I have recently bought a temperature/humidity sensor - Everspring ST814.

Unfortunately, I have one annoying issue with this device: HC2 constantly informs me about the Low Battery of this device.

It cannot be right, because the ST814 has brand new batteries installed (changed several times) and the ST814 does not inform about Low Battery level on its own display (it has such functionality).

What is even more strange, is that the HC2 does not send any mail notification about the Low Battery status, despite this option is checked.

I have removed and added the device to HC2 as well, to check if the configuration is wrong, but it did not help.

My guess is that HC2 is wrongly interpreting ST814 messages or that ST814 is sending wrong messages.

Therefore I would like to ask you do you have any ideas about it?

How can I verify and find out what is wrong?

Maybe some LUA scripting?

Thanks and regards

Mike
