HCL won't find Relay Switch anymore

I had the switch working, but had to remove it to test it on an other place. But when I want to connect to my gate again, my HCL won't find it anymore in learning mode.

 

It is all connected right. When I press the B button, the gate goes open, but the HCL doesn't find it.

 

What could the problem be?

Move HClite closer and try again. Also you can reset rela. If this is done, insert HClite to inclusin mode and remove power from relay and put it back again.

I found the problem. I didn't have a load on the relay. When I connected something, it worked.

That's good - and not good! The Fibaro relays work without a load! Please double-check your wiring!

I understand from this question that you do not own the manual, did not read it, or forgot what's in it.

For instance, see chapter "2. Resetting Double Relay Switch", if it's a FGS-222.

Also, please note that resetting is a last-resort-option. First, you try to exclude and include (proper "add" and "delete" from your HC, not the "X" mark). Any controller can exclude any module at any time. By doing so, you'll remove it from the network and *also* reset the module. If you use reset, the controller won't know and you'll end up with orphaned (and dead devices) that may confuse you even more. So reset doesn't exclude a module. Reset is rarely used! If your HC doesn't find a module, first try to bring them closer together.
