Hi,

 

I have an LG Smart WebOS TV and I can't add it to my HC2. 

I've connected the TV to my wifi network and I can ping it. I have downloaded the plugin within my HC2. When I try to search for the TV from the HC2 I can't find it.

What am I missing?

My HC2 is version 4.080

Strange, I have LG Smart TV and it works perfectly.

Could you check the IP address on TV and to verify access to the internet?

I believe you have installed LG TV plugin and not Wake on LAN

Yes, I installed remote control for LG because I want shutdown the TV.

Is any other device can discover the TV? Not just ping....

For example:

You PC should see LG-TV as a media device (open my computer and go to the network) - see attachment.

 

It might be that you need to open network discovery on TV.

Try to play with network setup options on TV.

My computer can see TV and I can control it from my phone but can't discover from fibaro :/

I guess you have a new/recent LG model (2015/2016)? I have the same issue. The plugin only seems to work with the older models. Apparently LG changed the api/communication and authentication in recent models. I'm afraid we need to wait for an update to the plugin to also support newer models.
