New Templates Auto-Installed After Version Update?

Hi,

Can anyone tell me if new templates in an update should automatically be available to registered devices that need it, or do I have to exclude the device and include again for the template to be applied and have all parameters available.

I have a Yale Z-Wave front door lock that's included but only with basic parameter I added. The latest version of software for Fibaro HC2 (4.080) has the template for this lock but I don't see any extra parameters available. In the advanced tab it still says it 'does not have a template'.

Should it be excluded then included again?

Normally you should not have to include exclude but in this case I think you have to include it in secure mode.

For Z-wave door locks, it needs to be included in secure mode. Hence, for this particular situation, you may want to re-include it.

 

Here is how a Yale Z-wave door lock will look like after correct inclusion and it does not indicate device lacks of template though there is no additional parameters to configure:

If you are looking for stability, yes.

If you are looking for feature, no there is no new feature added and pin code changing is not available yet too
