Hello

I have a FGK101 Door / Window Sensor, I have connected Temperature sensor DS18B20 1-Wire 1m

But I get no temperature readout, one can only read 0:00
What am I doing wrong?

I have tried to remove it and added it, but still 0:00
At the bottom of the advanced states

0 - DS18B20 is working properly

Be sure that the wires make good contact on the terminals.

Measure with a ohm meter between the leads at the sensor and the screw at the terminal block.

Sometimes it looks that the wires are fixed but they don't make contact.

Also be sure that the sensor is connected correctly.

It's adviced in the manual to use separet wires but with 1 meter a 3 wire cable shouldn't be a problem.

    I will check. Thank you
So there´s no parameters to change?

So there´s no parameters to change?

    Default parameters should work.

Try to reset the sensor first, when it's not working and your sure about the connection.

Reset procedure is stated in the manual, and there is a video in e-learning fibaro.

Tried everything you suggested, thanks for your time

Nothing works, perhaps it is broken
It is allowed to rest overnight, so I can see tomorrow

It has been awhile since I did this and I sure encountered the same puzzlement as shared. Let me try to recall the sequence I have done so.

    1. Install the DS18B20 (3-pins) to the Fibaro door/window sensor. BE EXTRA CAREFUL with the pins matching to the connector. I fried/killed the first DS18B20 I installed cause I connected the wrong pin as I interpreted the diagram in manual wrongly.
    2. Include the Fibaro door/window sensor to HC2 as per normal. In firmware 4.07x and 4.080, it should now recognise there is temperate sensor and hence the Fibaro door/window sensor device template will have additional parameter. In earlier firmware 4.06x and before, the HC2 behaviour was different.
    3. If the Fibaro door/window sensor was already included to HC2, it will need to be excluded and re-included to get the temperature sensor recognised.*

*PS: I cannot be certain if this behaviour is still the same. Based on my own backup notes, up till 4.062 this behaviour still hold true. Well, it is always a good practice to try using the soft-reconfigure first, then if not working, try using the (hard) reconfigure. If both still does not yield the right result after several attempts, do the last resort - exclude and re-include.

    Good luck. Hope this helps.

Edit: Included a screenshot of parameter 15 if the temperature sensor is correctly added and working.

    Thank you for your time

Have tried everything above several times but no result

However it seems to work if you look at parameter 15

In my Swedish forum someone writes

There is a sensor DS18B20 and one named DS18B20 +.
The latter will work to the Fibaros door sensor. Could it be that causes trouble?

Are there two different? What sets them apart?

I haven't heard of a DS18B20+ but I've checked the data sheet and the "+" means "lead free". So no functional differences between DS18B20 and DS18B20+. But there is a DS18S20 (S instead of B) that is (almost certainly) not compatible.

    Okay thanks

    It is definitely DS18B20
So then it should be no problem
Replace it in the morning so I can see if there was a problem

Check the 3-pins match to the Fibaro connector. If memory serves me well, I made the mistake of having the curved edge facing/nearer to me which is wrong. As shared earlier, I fried/killed the first DS18B20 chip due to the mistake.

If this still doesn't work, I am not sure what else could be the issue.
