New in fibaro System

Question

Hello,

I've just received my HC2 today.

I've register all my module.

I've got 2 issue

1 - For Motion sensor :

I've got 3 of them.

1 next my HC2 and 2 other in 2 other rooms.

when I arm the alarm in all the house.

the alarm next to the HC2 is working,

samething in other room.

Once I want to force the alarm again (As there was a breaking)

I can see in the log of the alam.

for the one next to the HC2 -> from alerting -> to normal

but I cannot see this for the 2 other rooms.

I looks like they do not reinitialise to normal.

Is it due to a signal problem ? If I take them in the office where my HC2 , I've got no problem.

Would a zwave wall plug will act like a repeater (I do not have one for the moment) ?

2- I ve got 3 Danfoss LC13 0014G0013

I can see the right temperature on the LCD (21). when I touch the radiateur, it is cold ?

and I can see that sometime, it looks like it lost the connection with hc2.

When I wake up manualy the device it take the right temperature but the temperature of the radiateur is not changing ?

any idea ?

Thanks

Pixys

you don't have other zwave devices?

these are all battery devices so you will have a "poor" zwave network without repeaters

    please explain?

wallplugs etc are acting as repeaters, why would this create a poor zwave network?

All powered devices act as repeaters. Well, to be correct, there is an exception to that rule: Fibaro Swipe is not a repeater, though it can be USB powered.

If you're building a new network, or experience network issues, it might help to go to "Configuration", "Z-Wave network configuration", "Mesh network reconfiguration" then reconfigure the entire network. Watch the status window at the top. You'll see errors for devices on batteries. Those will catch up later, when they wake up. Or when you manually wake them by pushing some magic button in a certain rhythm.

Because fibaros mesh network implementation sucks!

Mains powered or nuclear reactor powered... It's one thing they have never got quite right!

I've bought 3 wall plug. It work better now with the detector.

I've still have some issue with the Danfoss LC13 where it show on the lcd 26 degree and my radiator is cold.

I still have to do some test. I'll keep you informed.

    Thanks a lot

Glad to hear your network is better now... Are you using rechargeable batteries? That could explain erratic behavior of LC12 and LC13 (it's in the manual).

    Hi

Have you checked that the small pin on the valve moves easily. (And the radiator heater when taking Danfoss of.)

    Hello

    Are you using rechargeable batteries?

No I'm not, I used the one delivered with the product

Have you checked that the small pin on the valve moves easily

Yes, I tried that too. the little pin is not the problem, I've got old honeywel product which works fine on it.

I think I still have to do some checks on it, I will take the time to check 1 or 2 week to see.

    Thanks

    Hello,

    I've got more question.

I've got the iphone interface in order to control the fibaro system.

For the Motion sensor, it looks like it is not possible to arm the alarm via the interface. (without setting up a scene).

I was interested in the Fibaro FGS-222 EU but I do not have the N circuit coming out of my wall, I guest there is no way for me to have this kind of product then ?

    Thanks

What happenes if you "swipe down" on the alarm button on the initial screen?

If you read the installation manual you can see the N is not required, even though its recommended. I would suggest to "take down" the N wire from the closest connection point. Or even further contact an electrician.

Sorry, I did not see the swipe button. For the alarm, it is working now. Thanks.

I've download the installation manual and I cannot see any notice about the N not required. Do you have any hint or think which could help me on this.

As without the N circuit, I do not see how the power can reach the Fibaro module.

    Hello

I still have got a problem.

When I'm trying to set association on 1 of my wallplug.

I select all the multi channel association (In order to have this device as a repeater for my signal) in the group 1. Click the save button.

    It shows the update

Please login or register to see this code.

When I go back to the association menu. Some association I've made have disappeared.

Do you have any idea what's happening, did I do something wrong ?

    Thanks
