I want to achieve a setup where HC2 is a primary, and Zwave-me (Razberry) a secondary controller. (My HC2 has software 4.80, and I also tried with 4.81-beta)
For this reason I tried various scenarios of how to kick-off my network. For instance, I started off from the ZWave-me, and included HC2 as secondary, and then wanted to achieve a "controller shift".
I thought that maybe I could use the SUC/SIS provided by Razberry, while still having HC2 as the primary controller.
Needless to say that this failed miserably
Moreover, I ended up withh HC2 getting stuck as the secondary conroller, and I see no apparent way of quiting it in _ANY_ way. Not even a full ZWave reset works... I keep getting the "HC2 is not primary controller" all the time. I cannot include any device, or get HC2 re-included as a secondary either...
The only possible way I found was to recover to one of my previous backups. Yet this obviously takes time, and ... resets just about everything I set.
Dear Fibaro friends:
1) Any chance to have this lockout bug fixed and have a properly working controller shift (HC2 becoming primary master again)
2) Or, at least, if we do the "Reset Z-Wave", could it reset the HC2 to the state of being the primary master?
3) Is there any progress in having SUC/SIS implemented inside HC2 firmware (I'm guessing that one need to upgrade the ZWave firmware and SDK to somewhat more recent...). It is a pity that some of Fibaro modules have a cutting-edge new firmware (eg the new smoke sensors) while the most flagship product still works with something dated...
with best regards,
PIotr
