There are lots of ways to do this. I created a button on my VD called "Remote On". This is the code i pasted in that button:

Please login or register to see this code.

Where GLOBAL_VARIABLE is variable I created in the variables panel

I also update a label (Label12) to state the remote is "On"

I then have this code run in the main loop of the VD:

Please login or register to see this code.

Label13 reports the time in seconds that the remote has been running.

You can create an Off button as well or you can run down a counter using the above. In this case the a timer is counting down from 100:

Does your example shows the "Server status"  under HC2 > Configuration > Tab "General" > Server status ?

I would like it to start automatically from the Server status, would that be possilbe ?

There is probably a smarter way to do this, but if you want the timer to line up with the server status then create a new scene with %%autostart which means that it will automatically start when your HC2 boots up and then have that scene push the virtual device "Remote On" button I described above.
