How exactly does the red box (delay) work for triggers?

Question

Posted

Hi,

I'm trying to build a very simple scene using blocks.

It needs to check if motion sensor is safe for 5 minutes, and if it is, switch off both switches on Fibaro dual relay.

What I have done is that I have set '300' as a parameter for checking whether the motion sensor is safe, and then I'm switching both the switches off.

Unfortunately the scene is acting weird. It is somehow holding one channel of the relay off (can't be switched on using the wall mounted switch), while the other never switches off (even after those 5 minutes).

To start the troubleshooting somewhere, I would like to understand whether using the red delay box is the right way for triggering the scene. Is it?

Thanks!

M.
